College students from across Kentucky are partnering with an independent student organization working as an auxiliary to Edge Outreach, originally comprised of BCM students who will extend the invitation to college groups across America and hopefully the world to fight the problem of water.
Students from Kentucky gathered the last weekend of September to launch their efforts.
"We are presently looking at over $500,000 in current project needs. Schools, ships, nursing homes, orphanages, hospitals, churches. . . the project list is endless. We need money. We need resources. We need people to go. I cannot help but think that this really is "What Jesus would do". I am endorsing SWIMserve.com to my peers and friends. I just can't imagine thinking that Jesus had in mind that this is a "United Nations" problem to solve. I believe this can be one of the Church's finest hours, and the face of our Church will be the face of our students, entering into the suffering of humanity with the gospel of Jesus Christ." said Keith Inman, State Collegiate Ministry Director for Kentucky.
